THE TEXAS SIPPER COCKTAIL

April 28, 2014

Ready for another cocktail? This week we’re drinking The Texas Sipper cocktail. Texan only because we used Tito’s vodka. But you can use any vodka you’d like as long as you use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. This drink is part sweet, part tart, and all parts delicious. I imagine it’d be great on a hot, humid August day in Texas, it was certainly delicious on a wet dreary late April day in Boston.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce St. Germain
  • 1½ ounces freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • Club soda
  • Mint for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Add the vodka, St. Germain, and grapefruit juice to a highball glass over ice. Stir well, then top off with club soda and garnish with mint if desired.
