Champagne Sorbet Cocktail

December 29, 2014

I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing holiday.  We had a nice quiet holiday at home filled with lots of food and good cheer.  My holidays are continuing this week, though I have to say I have a hard time getting into the New Year’s Eve spirit. But it’s certainly not for a lack of good cocktails! If you’re looking for something a little more interesting than regular old champagne, but have no interest in a complicated cocktail, I’d like to suggest this champagne sorbet cocktail. Like my last post, this one only needs two ingredients and is ready in less than a minute.

Add a small scoop of sorbet to a champagne flute or coupe, top off with champagne/prosecco/cava/other sparkling beverage and that’s it. It’s easy, it’s delicious, and boom, you have a tasty drink in hand.
