Happy Friday everyone! Need a distraction from reading about the missing plane? Here’s round two of things I’m loving now.
Feast: Generous Vegetarian Meals for Any Eater and Every Appetite– I am definitely not a vegetarian, but I am seriously loving this cookbook. There are so many delicious recipes in here that I can’t wait to make.
Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie with Sea Salt and Caramel Recipe– I haven’t actually made this yet but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it all week. I NEED this. Who wants to come over and gorge on an underdone giant cookie and watch tv with me???
Speculoos Spread aka cookie butter aka Biscoff spread– I first discovered speculoos cookies when we went to Belgium last summer. For those not in the know, speculoos are simple spiced cookies that are delicious with tea. Speculoos spread is essentially a spreadable cookie with a consistency similar to peanut butter. And it is delicious! I mean, it’s a spreadable cookie, how could it not be amazing? Trader Joe’s sells this as cookie butter and I’ve seen regular grocery stores sell this under the Biscoff brand name. Find it and try it!
Speakeasy: The Employees Only Guide to Classic Cocktails Reimagined- I’ve been getting a lot of new cocktail ideas from this book. There are so many interesting possibilities out there!
This Christopher Walken dance mashup– Has everyone already seen this? I am loving this! I had no idea he danced in so many of his movies. It makes me want to go out and rent (download) his movies.
