I don’t know about you, but sometimes a good Sunday night cocktail helps ease me back in to the work week. During citrus season, a Rosemary Salty Dog is a perfect choice. A Salty Dog is generally made with gin and grapefruit juice; a Rosemary Salty Dog involves, you guessed it, rosemary. The sweet/tartness of the grapefruit pairs really well with the savory rosemary. This drink is really best with fresh grapefruit juice, the stuff in the carton won’t work nearly as well. Citrus season lasts for another couple of months, so make this drink while you can!
